Tosca: Flexing at 49 Finale

Happy Monday Clean Eaters!

Did my fellow Canadian Clean Eaters happen to catch the last episode of Tosca: Flexing at 49 this weekend? What did you think?

I can't believe 8 episodes flew by so quickly. I hope you've learned something about the world of fitness and maybe a little bit more about who I am.

I really enjoyed how they finished the series with the final meal at home with my family. That's what it all comes down to... being able to feed your family healthy foods that bring you together and allow you to enjoy life.

Thanks for watching!

-Tosca

I'm so upset that I can't watch it in the US. Where can we find it online?

I always looked forward to each episode. The last scene was nice. I hope you can keep us posted on Kelly and her family.

Tosca - I was so sad when I realized that it was the last episode. I would love it if you had your own series. Your persona is made for TV, not only for pictures. But I'm sure you are already onto your next venture and whatever it will be, will be amazing. Thank you for sharing the WHOLE picture of what it was like for you and your family during the competition process.
I also agree, you should have placed at least 3rd place instead of 4th...but like you said, you just never know what the judges are thinking.
I was so proud of Kelly for losing 50lbs in what, 4 months?! She just looked like she was happier to be in her own skin.
Thanks again!

I didn't realize it was the last episode. Would love to see more! I like how you really perked up and got more excited about the show after your daughter showed up. I agree about the final scene - looks like you were all having a lot of fun cooking and eating.

What! I didn't realize that was the last episode. What will I do on Saturday night's at 8:00 now! I really enjoyed the show but the same as many others have already stated, it was too short and we didn't need the constant recaps, then they could have fit in more material. I hope you are back sometime with another show!

I have been a follower of yours for quite awhile now and was excited at the chance of hearing what you had to say through"Flexing at 49." I like the realism of the show, showing the downs and ups instead of projecting an image of a woman who is perfect and whose life is perfect in every way. The viewers come to realize that everyone struggles - they are not alone in their struggles, they are not losers. Thanks for being real. I hope that you will do more TV programs in the futrue and I look forward to the reruns of this one. You are an inspiration to us all.

Tosca;

I would like to thank you for making women realize it is never too late to take control of your health and shape. So many believe that once you get a certain age, you just need to accept the extra weight and other beliefs. Many women don't start to take care of themselves until they are in their 40's, 50's or even 60's. There are no age for eating clean, exercising and taking control of your life. It doesn't mean you can't be a wife and mom also. Thank you

Noooo. It can't be over already. I truly enjoyed watching the show and seeing how you manage you day to day life. I see it is a hard effort for everyone who has a family to put themselves first. It definitely was an eye opener to see the prep and commitment of being in a competition. Thanks for being so inspiring.

I loved the series---yes it did seem to go by quickly. I looked forward to watching it on my PVR every week. I loved how you got all the backstage stuff at the shows! I can understand your frustration with your hubby when all you desire is a "good job" and not how you need to improve- Plus and minus to having a partner in the industry!
