More ECD Press
I'm working away at home today and taking care of my sick 16 year old. She's been hit with a nasty bug and has been sleeping for days. Lots of fluids, lots of rest, a little bit of food here and there, and constant check ups from Stepmommy and daddy. I'm hoping she feels better soon. In the meantime, hubby and I are gargling with salt water, swabbing our noses with salt water, washing our hands constantly, and keeping as clean as possible.
ECD got a great review from Westside Today in LA. Enjoy! And take care of yourself!

Wishing your daughter a quick, full recovery!
I am still going to the gym....but I am getting nervous about the H1N1 virus. I keep my work out gloves on and I am careful not to touch my face. I am almost tempted to workout at home.
I hope your daughter is feeling better soon!
Hope your daughter feels much better soon and that you guys don't catch it too!
To Anonymous who is concerned about the gym: if your gym doesn't have cans of spray disinfectant near machines and weights, you might consider carrying some of the little single-use Wet Ones or SaniKids wipes in your gym bag. That way you can wipe down what you need to use before you start working out on/with it. Lysol also makes a little portable spray sanitizer you can drop in a purse or bag for doorknobs and steering wheels - it'd be great for that too! :-) My old gym had cleanser nearby and we were required to spray and wipe any machines we used before moving to the next one - but not all gyms offer that or enforce it strictly. Good luck!
After swearing that I would NEVER do it, I broke down and got the H1N1 vaccination. I have never had a flu shot in my life, but I was pursueded (sp?) by the fact that although I have never had flu, I have had pnuemonia and bronchitis. Since I work with the public daily, I caved in dispite my reservations. HOWEVER-that doens't mean that I am not still taking the gargling and cotton swab precautions and using sanitizer everywhere. ESPECIALLY at the gym. Good luck to you and your family, Tosca, and I hope your young one improves greatly.
