Texas Recovery
Last week was an absolute whirlwind bustling around Texas promoting New York Times Bestseller Your Best Body Now, hence my absence from blogging as I try to get my life back in order. It's amazing how quickly laundry and bills and work pile up when you're away for any length of time, let alone 1 week.
I enjoyed my time in Texas and hope the message of living a clean and healthy lifestyle was spread as best as possible. We certainly had a lot of press coverage and events. Thank you to everyone who came out to our Gold's Gym seminar and to our Journey to Health event in Corpus Christi.
I met a ton of people, including Angela Schwarzbach seen to your left, and gathered a great number of success stories that I hope to share with you on my website very soon.
Overall, it is my sincere hope for folks in Texas and everywhere to become aware of how serious a problem being overweight is. It affects individuals, families, communities, states and nations on a palpable level. It is no laughing matter & it needs to be dealt with NOW! You have the ability to make a change within you today. So in the famous words of Nike, JUST DO IT!
Your Sister in Iron,

Tosca I wished I had kept up with your events...I live in San Antonio and would have loved to seen you! I have followed your great work for years.
You are so right about the obesity problem in Texas. Ever since I moved back to my home state over a year ago (I was in Colorado) I became more aware of the prevalence of unhealthy food choices people still continue to make. I will stay on track to keep fit at age 52 & not fall into the trap of what every one else does or eats. Thank you for promoting the Eat Clean Diet--it's a way of life!

I never really understood Nike's tagline until I "just did it"! :)
