EXTRA! TV TONIGHT!

Hello Clean Eaters!

Good news - one of my segments for EXTRA! will air tonight. The show airs on many different stations in different cities, so you'll have to check your local listings to see when it airs in your area.

I was asked to reach out to Kirstie Alley, who is appearing on Oprah tomorrow to talk about her battle with weight. I am hoping that I can encourage her to refocus herself. She's a stunning woman, and I know she can make the changes needed to be as beautiful as she was back in her Cheers days.

Tune in tonight, and, as always, let me know what you think by posting a comment here, on facebook, or even through twitter (@toscareno).

Have a good evening everyone!

Tosca

Kirstie Alley...WOW! She has been so public with her weight issues and I know she has been on Oprah many times discussing it. You will sitting on Oprah before the year is out, you watch and see! You are rocking the house Tosca! Keep up the great work, you are helping the world one event at a time.

Kirstie Alley IS beautiful, just overweight. These are not mutually exclusive terms.

Saw the Extra segment this afternoon in Chicago. How fun!

I feel sad for Kirstie because I know personally that it is a struggle to keep the weigh off after changing your lifestyle and to be in front of so many people on a daily basis has to be hard.

I'm glad you'll be reaching out to help her by sharing what you teach others.

Tosca does it matter when doing pelvic thrusts if your legs are together more or apart.

I agree with another comment, I think Kirstie is beautiful regardless, actually, to be honest, I didn't think she looked as good during her Cheers days as she does now.
What I heard from Kirstie's interview with Oprah more than anything else is the emotional and mental reasons why the struggle and the failure is repeating itself.
Every person's reason for eating is different, and how to combate it is different as well. Of course at the core is diet and exercise but the stem of it lies with 'why do we eat what we eat when we eat it?' How many people know the difference between when you are hungry versus when you are thirsty?
Just my 2 cents!
