DAY 1 POST SURGERY
Good Morning.
After a long and much needed sleep, I awoke this morning feeling pretty good. Although the doc sent me home with 2 Percocet I found that Tylenol Extra Strength is just fine for me. I don't want to overdo the drugs. Interestingly I discovered that there were only 2 incisions in total, one for each breast and just around the nipple. The implants must have been removed and replaced through the nipple. It hurts to think about it so I won't. But I am pleasantly surprised that the surgery was minimally invasive.
I am eating well, back to my normal oats, berries and egg whites and feeling great. A wee bit tired but otherwise not bad. I do have an incredible thirst however and I have no idea what that is about. Anybody out there know? I thought it might be related to the anesthetic.
As for the sports bra, I think that is just temporary. At least for a week there are to be no regular bras. So I am wearing the LuLuLemon Y Bra which is comfortable but definitely not uplifting. Who cares? I will just do it and let the Parisians see me with unsupported breasts right?
I am heading off to the office now.
Stay tuned.

Hi Tosca!
I LOVE your books! They have changed my life!
Why so thirsty after surgery? I'm an ICU nurse and I suspect it is because your mouth would have been partially open for several hours with the endotracheal tube. My intubated patients are always complaining of a dry mouth. Drink up on the water and suck on some ice!
Best wishes in your recovery!

Hi Tosca, I too had an outpatient surgery this week. Its great to have clean eating and great nutrition to lean on to get thru the recovery! Thank you for that! Can't wait to see you again at the Arnold!
I am so glad to hear you are on the mend and eating your yummy food again! Take it easy and enjoy not having to wear a bra! :D

Congrats on a successful surgery!
Seems I have seen/heard more people going with smaller implants, I just caught up with your blogs.
I am very happy for you and as you continue to heal I will pray for you a speedy recovery.
Wow, you are doing very well after surgery. Glad to hear it!!
Tosca,
Happy recovery and have a wonderful trip! I think you will really enjoy your new size! Running will feel awesome. Smaller is better and more natural ( at least I think!)
Glad to see you are doing well after your surgery.
Have fun in Paris!
Glad that you are feeling better!! I have a question that I hope you can give direction on...Do you have an email that can be used??
her e-mail is on the eat clean diet website
Glad to hear that you are doing a-ok. I think you are very brave to reduce your size. Most women want bigger, when a normal size seems perfect.
Speedy healing to you,
Monica.
Reading your story is liberating. It seems that everywhere I look, there are knockers staring me down with glee!
Not wanting to lose feeling in my girls, I have not had the courage to augment them.
As I adapt to my disappearing breasts, I hope to gain body confidence so I can leave well alone.
Spin cycling, Zumba and running is truly made easier with lighter, little boobies.
Thank you for your courage and openness here, for all eyes to see.
Happy to hear that you had a safe and successful procedure! Hope you continue to feel well and have a speedy recovery. Sounds like you are well on your way! Enjoy Paris!!
Thanks for answering my question Tosca...hope your having an amazing time in Paris!!
