Swim and They're Gone!

Hi Everyone.

I just had a fantastic open water swim with my coworker and friend, Wendy. We swam about 1400 meters in a beautiful Caledon Lake. Her parents paddled in the paddleboat beside us for safety. I sure felt better having them there! Wendy and I kept a good pace and really enjoyed the conditions - sunshine, warm lake water and a beautiful environment. You can't beat these Canadian lakes! After our swim Wendy and I picked and ate sour cherries from her tree. Then I went home and picked fresh blueberries from my bushes. So delicious!

This will be my last swim or run for a few days as tomorrow morning I am going to be in surgery. For some time now I have been considering downsizing my implants. When I competed in my triathlon I realized how silly, unnecessary and uncomfortable large implants are. Well I am no Pamela Anderson but still! So off I go. I am changing from 225 cc's to 125 cc's. I hope this will be the last time. No more surgery for me. The look I am hoping for is what I have been fondly calling "fashion boobs." I hope you all will bear with me as I go under construction. If you want to know how it all went down, let me know. I will share.

Keep it tight and never lose sight of your dreams.
Tosca

Best wishes for a safe surgery, Tosca and thanks so much for being so accessible and real.
You are out there talking about all those things that we're either too shy or too embarrassed to broach.

I've often wondered - do fashion and figure competitors need implants? I actually have a large chest naturally, but am saving up for a lift post-children. I'd love to compete one day as a "fit mom" and would like to know if big boobs are required. I too am a distance runner - and my large chest has not been helpful in me getting faster times.

Good luck with your surgery!

Thank you for being so open and honest with us, Tosca. I am considering implants when I get to my goal weight, but I also want to run, so thanks! This is vital information!

You are my hero Tosca! There is no movie star, book author, etc. that I rather meet than you. Thank you so very much for your honesty and the real person you are. I had implants a couple years ago after having babies. I went small. I am told that I am a petite person. I am a big runner and was so afraid of boobs getting in my way but after the procedure, for about a year, I was disappointed with the size and had boob greed. I would say in the last 6 months or so, I have grown to love my body with my small implants. People don't always know I have them and they are natural. I can push em up when I want to look more vuluptious and feel sexy. My running and soon to be triathele activities are uneffected!
I would love to hear about your recovery. You will do great and be back on your feet in no time!!

Good luck and thanks for sharing such personal info with all your fans! Interested to know if you decided underneath, partial or above the muscle and what your thoughts are on them for women who like to lift. After loosing weight mine are almost gone and I would love to get a small implant and I am very interested in personal knowledge of the best type. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I had my surgery almost eight months ago. 350cc low profile. I wanted a very natural look, but was told that because I have a wide chest I couldn't go much smaller. Moths later I still feel they are too big and make me look bulky. I'm anxious to replace them, but not sure about the volume. I'm afraid they will be too far apart and look funny. Thank you Tosca for your openness and willingness to share, it is so timely for me, as I scheduled my revision appointment for August. You're amazing as always. Speedy recovery to you.
I would love to know all ditails about your new implants (dimentions, style, manufacturer).
Thanks again. Love, Lana.

Best of luck with your surgery. I'm new here but as a natural double D I know the pain of running! I've often thought of going smaller. I'm hoping eating clean will help!
Wishing you a quick recovery.
