Day 6 of 25 Days of Giving

The holidays are all around us and I am so happy to be celebrating with daily "gives" most of which are cost free and easy to do.

Today's GIVE:
Today (after the snow stops falling) I am giving the inside and outside of my daugher, Kiersten's, car a thorough cleaning!

Get excited because I am also upping the ante this week and randomly choosing one fan each week for the next 3 weeks from Facebook, the Kitchen Table, Twitter or here on the blog to win an Eat-Clean Diet Starter Kit (Eat-Clean Diet Recharged, Eat-Clean Diet Cookbook and Eat-Clean Diet Companion) all thanks to your giving spirit.

Get giving!

Today my give is dropping off a complete set of pots and pans at the local charity store. They've been asking for non-clothing items for a while.

Today, I gave to myself. I spent the weekend with my daughter while she was in the Critical Care Unit and I woke up exhausted. I refreshed myself with a Bible Study this morning and will be taking my daughter back to the doctor this afternoon. But, now I feel more up to it. :)

What a great give-a-way!

My give actually started a few weeks ago. I work near a homeless camp and they are in desperate need. My family and I got ahold of the local news outlet and requested people help as much as possible. The response has been huge, the people have received, blankets, clothes, shoes, tolietries, and enough food to last the winter...

My gift yesterday was spending time with a few women who needed a pick me up..phone sisters!
My eldest daughter needed mom time so we chatted together versus her running off to the coffee shop in search of a friend!
My time is spread thin this way but it is so worth while.
Thank you darling Tosca for being YOU.

Tosca,I think It is AMAZING that you take time to give to others. Often people think they don't have the time or resources. If Tosca can do it, we all can!! I am making some clean eats for my sons hockey team this weekend. NO Donuts in our dressing room!!!!

Today we went through our closets and got several warm coats, hats, and mitts to donate to our local shelter. It is cold outside and it only took ten minutes of my time to make sure someone else was able to keep warm.

Next on the list is a kitchen purge - we have lots of extra soup that can go to the food bank.
